Designed and optimized for weight and thermal capability, the Sovren system is ideal for trail and short course use. This system has been tested and proven by Hayes’ sponsored short course racers (in the Champ Off-Road series) and is the preferred braking system of Kyle Chaney, and Rodney and Owen VanEperen. Learn more about our sponsored teams here. Stock pads in most applications are specific to left/right and front rear while Sovren’s pads are designed for consumer ease of use. Pad geometry is the same front/rear and left/right, providing consumers the ability to use the same pad on any caliper, no matter its location on the vehicle.
T-139 is a sintered friction material with a coefficient of friction .35-.45. Friction material is predictable & stable through operating pressure, rub speed and temperature range. T139 not recommended with cast iron rotor applications.

Fits Hayes Sovren kits below, please note that these calipers come with the Hayes standard mount bracket which is different than the mount bracket included in the kit numbers below. All other parts are interchangeable.
