Hayes Snocross Racer Captures Fourth Pro Championship
Elias Ishoel Continues as Reigning Champion
When Hayes Powersports athlete Elias Ishoel entered into the 2022 Snocross season with a new team, fans wondered if the reigning champ would continue his winning streak. There was no reason for doubt. Thene Motorsports' Elias repeatedly returned to the podium time and time again throughout the season, never straying far from being points leader. His consistent performance secured his fourth championship title in the Pro Series this past weekend in Michigan.
One of Elias' most stand-out riding traits is his aggressive braking, evidenced by his glowing rotor (see photo below). Despite his unprecedented demand on his brakes, Elias' brake system provided consistent and robust power race after race.
Close behind Elias and occasionally ahead of him was Scheuring Speed Sports Hunter Patenaude. After starting the season with a crash and injury in Shakopee, MN, Patenaude came back stronger than ever. The season highlight for Patenaude fans was his first ever Pro victory at ERX mid-way through the season.
Hunter's exacting use of his Hayes Stealth 88 master cylinder paired with the precise power of the Hayes X32 caliper is tour de force that displaying the full benefit of the Hayes Snocross Upgrade Kit - click here to learn more.
